Islamic Communication Trust (ICT) is a not-for-profit trust established in 1989 in Pakistan. The purpose is to provide education and relief to the masses through easy to read Islamic publications and partake in other charitable projects in order to create sustainable Islamic communities.
- In 1990, ICT printed pamphlets on various Islamic topics for free distribution.
- In 1992, an Islamic Correspondence course (in Urdu and English) was developed and over 1500 people received certificates on completion of this course till now.
- In 1995, ICT established a madrassa in Karachi teaching children Nazira, Hifz and Tarjuma of the Quran.
- In 1998, ICT published pocket sized booklets on topics of important needs such as "Diseases and their cures from Islamic teachings", 24 Hours with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
- In 2007 ICT started printing Quran and others books like 1000 Ahadith from Bukhari, Muslim, and Mishkat, Tafseer ibn-e-kathir, etc.. These books are sold at subsidized prices.
- In 2016, ICT established "Masjid Taqwa" in a poor neighborhood of Karachi.
- In 2018, ICT started a second madrassah for poor children inside Masjid Taqwa, teaching children Nazira and Hifz.
- In 2020, ICT started providing regular cooked meals to the poor.
- Every year, we print more than 150,000 Quran, books, pamphlets, stickers etc., provide Nazira, Hifz, & Tarjuma classes to over 200 students, and provide free iftar, food ration, & cooked meals to over 100,000 people.
